Quotable America…

The U.S. of A is an amazing place and I’ve met many Americans whom I love and call friends. They got this wacky problem though, the Christian right – so wrong.

“I’ve never seen a man in my life I wanted to marry. And I’m gonna be blunt and plain, if one ever looks at me like that I’m going to kill him and tell God he died.”
Jimmy Swaggart, September 29, 2004

“The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians.”
Pat Robertson, Fundraising letter, 1992

“Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB/GYN’s aren’t able to practice their love with women all across the country.”
George W. Bush, September 6, 2004

“Textbooks are Soviet propaganda.”
Jerry Falwell, 1980

“Will the highways on the internet become more few?”
George W. Bush, January 29, 2000

“My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building.”
Ann Coulter, October 22, 2002

“The real liberators of American women were not the feminist noise-makers, they were the automobile, the supermarket, the shopping center, the dishwasher, the washer-dryer, the freezer.”
Pat Buchanan, “Right from the Beginning,” p. 149

“But integration and equality are myths; they disguise a new segregation and a new equality…Every social order institutes its own program of separation or segregation. A particular faith and morality is given privileged status and all else is separated for progressive elimination.”
R.J. Rushdoony, The Institutes of Biblical Law, p. 296

“Capital punishment is our society’s recognition of the sanctity of human life.”
U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah

“But when you come to Heritage USA, remember to bring your Bible and your VISA card – because the Bible is the Holy Truth, and God doesn’t take American Express.” & “I started out by believing God for a newer car than the one I was driving. I started out believing God for a nicer apartment than I had. Then I moved up.”
Jim Bakker, TV Evangelist (NOTE: eventually nailed/jailed for fraud… family owned a dog house worth thousands of dollars, actually had air conditioning.)

Gross… They are such perverts; they love it. Just look at that Rapture Ready link on this site’s homepage (Would Jesus Vote Republican is my personal favourite). They actually want to bring about the end of the world, and they’re going to love every minute, that’s what’s so twisted…
Though their vision of belongs to a retarded 12 year old, and it’ll actually just be a long, drawn-out process of environmental devastation. Which is not, come to think of it, unrelated to their activities either. Crying and devastation indeed. They should be frigging outlawed.
