As we lurched into Dundas Square, we passed through a gathering for UMOVE (United Mothers Opposing Violence Everywhere). I was worried that we’d disturb a very serious rally but a smart DJ united the two worlds by launching into “Thriller”! All the zombies immediately morphed in Michael Jackson video extras… It was a spontaneous and magical experience. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the moment for what it was – strangers coming together and having fun.
