…features original music by the Rock and Roll Worship Circus!

2005_06_bibleman.jpgFor the past decade, “The Bibleman Adventure” video series has thrilled millions and set the standard for action packed family home entertainment. Bibleman’s spectacular battles against the flamboyant villains of Darkness are an exciting way to introduce your children to the Bible and the power of God’s Word. Here at Bibleman.com you’ll find special web discounts, exclusive DVD packages and Bibleman tour updates. Check back often for the latest on everything Bibleman.

Notice the peculiar wording in that promotional blurb? For example, what do you think they mean by the word “flamboyant”? I know which marginalised community I think of when I hear the word flamboyant and I can’t help but think Bibleman is making a statement here. At least the subtle odour of one… and it STINKS!

Then I have to ask, why is fighting the flamboyant villains EXCITING? Do the faith fighters secretly wish to be flamboyantly villainous too?

Hmmm… I think I got your number Bibleman. I saw it on the bathroom wall at Buddies this weekend…

Thanks for the find Geordie… a great giggle.

I’m confused. In “A Fight For Faith”, the Bibleman tradition continues in high style as Cypher and Biblegirl welcome a new Bibleman, the young and heroic Josh Carpenter, and join forces to battle the wild, Wacky Protestor”. Would the “Wacky Protestor” be the Christian Fundamentalist Anti-Choice activist who guns down doctors and support workers and intimidates individuals making free, informed choices according to their own conscious (the one who was effectively overturned Roe v. Wade by making access to abortions virtually impossible [http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/clinic/wars/])?

BTW, why is “Bibleman” dressed all in white?

Oh! Wait. ‘All white’ and a male. Right! I get it. (Nudge, nudge! Wink, wink!)
