Over the holidays, the huz and I were delighted to receive several boxes of old family papers and documents. I haven’t had a chance to review them all as of yet, but I did have a look at my mother-in-law’s parents’ passport.
Yes, passport. Singular.
Even though we all have a long way to go in the struggle for equality, this is a nice reminder of how far we have come in only two generations.
Perhaps it was Joseph and Vida’s choice to have a family or joint husband/wife passport but I don’t see where it says “accompanied by her husband”… Joseph is the bearer of this document.
