Kramer vs. Kramer and the case of the smittens

These are smittens. What the heck are they, you ask?

“Smittens™ are an innovative and fun new way to hold hands while walking or sitting with your loved one. With Smittens, you can actually hold hands inside one mitten!”

I was telling the Huz about these little handwarmers yesterday as we struggled against the fierce NYC wind. I wondered out loud whether or not Seinfeld’s Kramer would’ve bought into the smittens concept like he did with the “mansiere,” the belt-less raincoat, the ketchup-mustard bottle and god knows what else. He was the master of attempted entrepreneurship.

I say yes, he’d have schemed for smittens without a doubt, while the Huz weighs in with a no. What do you think?

I wouldn’t buy them! Mittens get lost to easily! Cute though!

The middle thing (the “smitten”?) looks like pants…for a creature who’s body ends just before the upper torso..?! It creeps me out man.
