Crafty encounters of an Etsy kind - today’s word: “penguin”

I’m so proud of Etsy! The site ranked five on Time’s 50 Best Web Sites of 2007.

In case you don’t know, Etsy is a “place to buy and sell all things handmade”. Anyone who wants to understand what the web can and should be needs to explore Etsy. Everything you know about “web 2.0″ - Etsy is a generation further along. Go and play with it, trust me - some advanced tools include the geolocator, the colour picker, the time machine, the shop local feature and tagging, lottsa, lottsa tagging.

In my professional life and my personal life I lurves the Etsy!

So, now my primary mission is to make you love Etsy too. To accomplish this, each week I’ll take a random word and review the best Etsy crafts tagged with said word. So let’s do it…

In honour of my main penguin-man Alfred, I thought this week we’d explore the world of, yup, penguins. As of this moment, there are 728 items tagged “penguin” on Etsy.
