Itatu Orphan Care – brand new web site

My sister-in-law Jennifer Douma is currently in Malawi teaching elementary school in the city of Lilongwe. She has two good reasons for being in Malawi: one, to gain experience teaching in a foreign country; and two, to be closer to her orphan care facility Itatu Orphan Care.

The word “itatu” is the word for three in Chichewa, the local language.

In support of Itatu, we launched a brand new site today – http://itatuorphancare.com. Check it out and let me know what you think. Do you like the site? Anything missing you’d like to see?

I think it’s a huge improvement!

One last thing, when you visit the site, look for the ChipIn widget and please donate if you can – even a buck or two helps. The facility currently feeds nine kids twice a day for about $250/month. At the moment they’re saving to buy some goats for milk… It’s truly amazing what little effort it takes to make an immense impact.
